With the way things are going today in the business world, its no wonder that more and more people are feeling the effects of office stress.  Increasing stress in the workplace is one of the leading causes for most health problems today.  Instead of going to the source and learning to manage stress better and demand better working conditions, most employees just keep grinding on as if there were no other options available.  Stop pulling your hair out and learn to deal with stress in the office today.  Over time, if you do not learn better ways of coping, your body will react in protest.  Human beings are programmed with a stress response that is very successful at getting us out of immediate danger.  That same stress response, though, isn't meant to be kicked into high gear everyday by the likes of office stress.  In the long term, experiencing high levels of continuous stress will lead to heart problems, blood pressure problems, depression, and anxiety to name a few.  Burnout is also a very real concern.  Once you reach that stage, it will be very difficult for you to even consider going back to the work that you may have started out loving.  And if that isn't enough, many people bring their office stress home with them and take it out on their families.  This becomes a never-ending cycle of stress that is very difficult to unplug from without scrapping everything and starting all over again.  This is not the ideal solution.  It is much better to learn how to cope with your office stress and work assertively towards finding better solutions in the workplace.
