Cleaning bench cushions can be very easy if they are removable from their foam inserts. If you have a Velcro or zipper around the edge of your bench cushions, then simply remove it from the foam. If there are manufacturer's cleaning instructions, then follow those. If not, then you may be able to just toss the bench cushions cover in the washer with cold water and a little detergent. Use cold water to minimize any shrinking. Hang it to dry instead of putting it in a dryer. This will help it last longer. If your bench cushions do not have a way of separating the outer covers from the inside foam, then the best thing to do is to take them off the benches and spray them with a hose. Add a little laundry soap to a bucket of water and using a scrub brush, go to it. Rinse out the soap well with a hose and hang it on the clothesline to dry.
